Terms of the free closed beta
1. Provider and service
Konspekto enables you to create an AI summary of a PDF book. The provider is Kulikov Aleksandr Vladislavovich, self-employed and a payer of Russian tax on professional income, Taxpayer ID (INN) 662608013611, Russia. Support: support@konspek.to. An additional contact channel is Telegram konspekto. Use email for formal enquiries so that correspondence can be retained.
The current version is a free closed beta by invitation. Open registration, credit purchases, new monetary top-ups and subscriptions are not part of this package. These terms do not terminate obligations relating to previous paid transactions or apply retrospectively to the user's detriment.
2. Access and use
Public examples are available without signing in. Uploading your own book requires sign-in with an invited email address. Requesting a link does not add an address to the invitation list or guarantee access to an uninvited user. Users must have capacity to enter into the relevant contract under the law applicable to them.
The terms, policy and separately presented consent, where required, are available before use. Personal data consent does not replace acceptance of the terms. Users accept the presented version through a separate action provided by the interface before using the service; the version must be available to save.
3. File, language and result
We support PDFs with a usable text layer, up to 100 MiB (104,857,600 bytes), that pass service checks. OCR for scans, processing of every PDF, a fixed page count and error-free structure detection are not guaranteed.
After analysis, users check the detected language and structure, choose the result language and may request a personal preview: a book map, 3–5 ideas and a developed content segment. The segment need not be the first chapter or a complete author-written chapter. A public example is not a preview of your own file.
The interface, source-book and result languages are distinct. Changing the interface language does not translate an existing result. Full summaries can be read in the app and downloaded as Markdown. PDF is the input format; PDF export and regeneration are unavailable in this beta. Rating a result does not start a new generation.
AI may make mistakes, omit context or convey quotations inaccurately. Check important conclusions and quotations against the original edition. Examples and previews do not guarantee the same quality for every book. This warning does not exclude liability for defects under applicable law.
4. Credits and failures
Required credits and an estimated completion time are displayed before confirmation of a full order. The estimate is not a guarantee of immediate completion or a fixed SLA. Welcome gifts and acceptance of new orders may be limited; available credits may be insufficient. We do not promise two books or unlimited retries to every user.
Credits account for service use; a welcome gift is not a paid purchase and does not entitle you to its face value in money. Credits are not sold in this package. Until completion, credits are reserved: a reservation reduces available credits but is not a final deduction. Credits are deducted upon a successful full result; the reservation is released upon definitive failure. An additional-review state may keep the reservation active pending a decision; it is not a completed result or final payment.
No credits are charged for a failure without a result. If the status is unclear, first check the existing order and contact support@konspek.to to avoid a duplicate order. A user cancellation button, automatic delay bonus and top-up while awaiting an order are not promised as current features. Rights already arising to cancellation, correction, regeneration or compensation are handled and fulfilled through support under the applicable earlier terms; the absence of a button does not terminate a right.
5. Materials, data and restrictions
Submit only material you are entitled to upload and process, including the necessary rights concerning personal data it contains. Permission granted to the service is limited to actions necessary for requested processing and delivery. It is not a transfer of exclusive rights to the operator or permission to publish your book or personal summary.
Summaries are for personal use. Obtaining one does not authorise distribution of another person's work, a protected translation or derivative material. Unauthorised access attempts, circumvention of restrictions, interference with operation and uploads of unlawful material are prohibited. Reports of infringement are accepted under the reporting procedure.
6. Defects, disputes and changes
If no result is delivered or a result is defective, describe the problem to support@konspek.to. We consider the claim and provide the applicable remedy; unavailable automatic regeneration does not mean refusal to consider correction. The refund policy explains the free-beta procedure and preservation of earlier paid rights.
Mandatory consumer rights, including those of consumers in Spain and other applicable jurisdictions, remain in force. Free access does not mean zero liability, automatic loss of withdrawal rights or waiver of judicial protection. Application of Russian law to relations with the operator does not deprive consumers of mandatory protection under the applicable law of their habitual residence. Contacting support does not waive access to a competent authority or court or restrict legally established jurisdiction.
A new version applies from its stated publication date and does not cancel earlier claims. Material changes are communicated before application; separate confirmation is requested where required. Personal data access and retention are governed by the privacy policy, not a promise of indefinite result storage in these terms.
