Separate consent to personal data processing

Operator: Kulikov Aleksandr Vladislavovich, self-employed and a payer of Russian tax on professional income, Taxpayer ID (INN) 662608013611, Russia. Contact: support@konspek.to.

I give separate consent to processing my personal data to the extent and for the purposes set out below, where that processing is based on consent.

Purposes: to provide access to Konspekto's free closed beta, sign-in and account functionality; process permitted material I submit for a personal preview and summary; maintain records of free orders and credits; and send service-related messages. This consent does not authorise advertising, publication of my book or personal summary, or training models on them. Credit purchases are not an available feature of this beta.

Data: email address, language settings, sign-in and consent information; the submitted file and data it contains, its name, size and checksum, extracted text, intermediate data and results; and account-linked order and credit-accounting information. Operations: collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, updating, retrieval, use for the stated purposes, disclosure to necessary recipients, restriction, deletion and destruction, by automated and non-automated means.

Hosting and data storage use AdminVPS in Germany; service email uses Resend (USA); protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile (USA and other countries in its global network); technical diagnostics use Sentry (USA). Diagnostics must not include user texts or secrets. Book text is sent to OpenAI (USA) as a processor through the operator's infrastructure to create previews and summaries. Requests do not include account details, but book text may itself contain personal data. The operator is in Russia and may access data hosted in Germany administratively from Russia. No Zero Data Retention, OpenRouter or data_collection:deny guarantee is made for this route. We do not use books or personal summaries to train models.

Source PDFs are subject to deletion at the earlier of 7 days after upload and 24 hours after the first successful full summary, with possible technical delay during active processing. The immediate-deletion obligation for rejected PDFs remains. Extracted text and intermediate summaries are retained for no longer than 30 days after the last related order is ready; previews without a full order for 30 days; completed summaries while the corresponding order is retained, with deletion available on request. Accounts with no sign-in for 3 years are subject to deletion with 30 days' notice. Previous financial records are retained for 5 years, usage and analytics events for 13 months, complaints for 3 years and backups for 30 days. Existing download artefacts retain their previous 30-day period and right to recreation, without introducing PDF export into this beta. Technical logs remain subject to short retention for a few days. Account-deletion deadlines remain 24 hours for account data and 30 days for backups, subject to applicable legal retention exceptions. Cookie expiry is not deletion of all server data.

A general checkbox is not universal consent under Article 49 GDPR and does not replace other necessary transfer grounds. Where processing is based on a contract or law, this consent is not its sole basis and does not require a waiver of rights.

This consent remains valid until the account is deleted or the consent is withdrawn, whichever occurs first.

I can withdraw consent by emailing support@konspek.to from my account email. After withdrawal, processing based solely on consent ceases and the relevant data is deleted within the applicable period unless another lawful retention basis exists. The previously promised deadline of 30 days after withdrawal remains binding, subject to lawful exceptions. If the service cannot be provided without the relevant processing, processing of new material and the corresponding part of the service cease. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing or claims already arising for the user.
